E’ una piattaforma dove tante persone vendono ciò che creano o hanno.
Lì si può trovare un pò di tutto, ci sono oggetti d’arredamento, accessori, articoli di abbigliamento e anche prodotti per la cura del corpo e cosmetici tutti naturali e fatti a mano!
Un mesetto fa ho visitato un piccolo shop che si chiama “Real soap and good rags” e ho deciso di provare qualcosa di estremamente utile, ovvero, lo stick all’olio dell’albero del tè e qualche balsamo per le labbra.
Tutto viene dagli States ed è giunto in Italia in circa venti giorni.
Ho provato quello che era nel mio pacchetto, siete pronti per saperne di più?
La prima cosa che ho voluto provare è stato il lip balm. Volevo provarne uno naturale, con un profumo delizioso, ma al giusto prezzo.
L’ho trovato ed si chiama Margarita Lips! No, non sono alcolizzata, perchè profuma solo di lime!

L’odore è molto fresco, sulle labbra non rimane troppo a lungo e, cosa più importante, lascia le labbra morbide per ore ed ore. Lo applico prima di andare a letto e al mattino ho le labbra soffici. Non avevo labbra così dal mio Avon Dry Skin SOS…
L’altro lip balm è Healthy Lips (1,43€), è ottimo come il Margarita ma profuma di menta.
Gli ingredienti sono: cera d’api, burro di cacao, burro di karitè, olio di mandorla dolce, vitamina E e olio essenziale.
Visto che l’olio dell’albero del tè è ottimo per la pelle, ho deciso di comprare due stick multiuso.
Grazie alle qualità di questo olio (antibatterico, funghicida, cicatrizzante…), lo stick si può usare sui brufoli, sulle pizzicate di insetto e anche come profumo solido.
Non mi piace molto come profumo, ma è estremamente efficace sulle pizzicate di zanzare, infatti, applicato localmente fa passare in pochi secondi il fastidioso prurito.
Questo semplicissimo stick dovrebbe far parte dell’equipaggiamento degli amanti del camping e non solo!
Lo stick (1,78€), dato che è composto di oli e burri, potrebbe sciogliersi con il caldo e durante il trasporto, in questi casi bisognerebbe lasciarlo per un pò in frigo.
Gli ingredienti dello stick sono: olio d’oliva, burro di karitè, cera d’api e olio essenziale dell’albero del tè.
Nel pacchetto Jaimee, il proprietario del negozietto, ha inserito un piccolo campione del suo sapone Cherry Almond.
Ero un pò scettica, pensavo che fosse il “solito sapone della nonna”, ma ho dovuto ricredermi.
Ho usato il campione tante volte e ho notato che lascia le mani morbide, lisce e profumate.
Non uso spesso saponi solidi, ma questo supera di gran lunga la saponetta Candy Candy di Lush che ho provato l’inverno scorso.
Devo confessarvi che mi piace molto usare i cosmetici fatti in casa, riesco a sentire la passione e l’impegno che le persone trasmettono attraverso i propri prodotti ai clienti. Suona strano, vero?
Questa esperienza di acquisto si è conclusa alla perfezione e i prodotti sono stati tutti promossi dopo i severi controlli di casa Valens.

Real Soap and Good Rags – Margarita Lips naural lip balm

There you can find a little bit of everything, there are supplies, accessories, clothing and even all natural and all hand made cosmetics and body products!
A month ago I visited a little shop called “Real soap and good rags” and I decided to buy something useful, such as, a tea tree oil stick and some lip balm.
Everything comes from the States and arrives here in Italy in about 20 days.
I tried what was in my little package, are you ready to learn more?
The first thing I tried is the lip balm. I wanted a natural balm with a good flavour but at the right price.
I’ve found it and it’s name is Margarita lips. No, I don’t have trouble with alcoholics because it simply smells like lime. Its scent is very fresh but it doesn’t stay too much on the lips and, most important, it leaves your lips soft for hours and hours.
I usually apply it before I go to bed and when I wake up my lips are still soft. I haven’t had lips so smooth since my Avon Dry Skin SOS lip balm…
The other balm is called Healthy Lips (2$), it is exellent like Margarita but it smells like pepper mint.
The ingredients are: beeswax, cocoa butter, shea butter, sweet almond oil, vitamin E and essential oil.
Since the tea tree oil is great for the skin, I decided to buy two multi-purpose sticks.
Thanks to the quality of this oil (antibacterial, antifungal, healing …), the stick can be used on pimples, on insects bites or used as solid perfume.
I don’t like so much the scent, but it is extremely effective on mosquitoes stings, in fact, if I apply it locally, the annoying itching can pass in few seconds.
The stick (2,50$), since is composed of oils and butters, can melt in hot weather and during transport, in these cases, you should leave it in the fridge for a while.
The ingredients are: olive oil, shea butter, beeswax and tea tree essential oil.
Jaimee, the owner of the shop, put in the package a small sample of the Cherry Almond soap.
I was a little skeptical, I thought it was the ” grandmother’s handmade soap” but I had to change my mind.
I used the sample many times and I noticed that it leaves my hands soft, smooth and fragrant.
I don’t like to use solid soaps for my hands, but this goes far beyond the soap Candy Candy from Lush I tested last winter.

I must confess that I really like using homemade cosmetics, I can feel the passion and enthusiasm that people send through their products to customers. It sounds strange, right?
This buying experience was perfect and the products passed all our serious tests.
